I can't believe that a year has passed since I was in London, and what a year it has been! For example, here's a modified list:

1.Got married to the love of my life
2.Discovered that I can combine my love of English and Archaeology and apply for grad school
3.Lost someone very special to me quite suddenly, but I know I will see them again
4.Major near-death experiences now total 4, makes me recognize my mortality and appreciate the time I have
5.Moved 5 times, with a sixth coming up within the next week, makes me realize that I can be happy anywhere
6.Lost and recovered all the information on my computer twice...hoping it won't happen again!
7.Working toward my first article publication
8.Working to finish three books...a lot of work when in conjunction with #6...
9.Realized that there is nothing that two people can't do when one of them is God
10. and last but not least, been the happiest I have ever been in my entire life!

God is so good to us, and I try to remind myself of this everyday. He has blessed me with so many wonderful things that it would be selfish of me not to recognize his hand in every aspect of my life. I have decided to challenge myself to think more about that when I create and appreciate art in every form.
